J-Radi-cal, J-Radiculous, J-Piratical, Officer Down the Klown, The King of Siam yes I am The King of Siam, DJ Fozzy Fozz, Professor Reginald Bunnypants III I have tenure, Wolf, Dr. Hugh Jorgen, gynecologist, or Chana Claus to name but a few, He is a situational comedian, prankster, and organizer of several San Francisco events including SantaCon, BYOBW, and the upcoming Fairy Tale Wedding featuring Sparkle Bottom as the Bride.

Want to tell a story? Got the stones to get up and spill the nitty gritty?

Intimidated by the wild and talented storytellers you see onstage at Bawdy? Don’t be. These guys are good, but so are you. I’m always looking for new storytellers, and I usually announce the theme at least a month in advance of the event.

Check back regularly for the upcoming event’s theme, and enjoy the delicious torture that is having a tale to tell, and the thrill of sharing it with a roomful of kindred souls.

Here’s how you tell a story onstage at Bawdy:

Keep your story under ten minutes in length
It’s easy to get caught up in the punch line, and then you’re stuck with “…and so yeah, that happened”. Think “beginning, middle and end’.
If you’re new to this, rehearse it a time or two in front of at least one other person
No reading! But crib notes are OK.
If you name names in your story, change ‘em. The pervy community is fairly small, after all
