Tatyana Brown

Tatyana is a performance poet, writer’s workshop leader, and recent East Coast transplant. Culture shock is finally giving way to familiarity with Northern California, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be wearing patchouli anytime soon. She prides herself on being a kitten-faced shit-talker and a connoisseur of the absurd. She is an associate editor for a journal of uncommon prose, the Open Face Sandwich, and a fierce advocate of flash fiction/consumer created art in the battle to save America from boring itself to death. She is the current Berkeley Slam Dirty Haiku Deathmatch Champion, and isn’t sure you can handle hearing the filth that will come out of her mouth in exactly 17 syllables
